Real Love Part 5
What is Real Love?
Real Love is to be expressed in words and in deeds (1 John 3:18). The apostle John makes a final appeal to his readers about real love. He exhorts them not to “love with words [logos]. He wasn’t condemning the use of comforting and kind words. He was emphasizing that words without action is just noise (1 Cor. 13:1). He was stressing the point that love—doesn’t just say it—it shows it. He was highlighting that love is to be seen in tangible acts of service and shown to others as a realization of God’s love shown to you…That’s Real Love
