Seeking God’s Will in Uncertain Times – Part 5

Rev. Dr. Antonio M. Alfred, Pastor All

My purpose in this article is to conclude our discussion on seeking God’s will and encourage you in uncertain times to be spiritually sensitive in seeking God’s will.  In Matthew 2, some wise men were seeking the newborn King by following a star they saw in the east.  They were seeking Jesus because they wanted to worship Him.  They found Him because they were spiritually sensitive to God.   If we are seeking the will of God, we have to follow the light that He already has given to us.  The Lord wants us to follow the light that He has already given you.  Additionally, if we are seeking the will of God, we have to confirm our steps by the Word of God.  The Lord wants us to order your steps according to His Word so that we can know the joy of doing things His way.  Lastly, if we are seeking the will of God, we have to be willing to obey Him without question every step of the way.  The Lord wants us to unreservedly be willing to trust and obey Him.  As we do, we will know the peace and joy of the Lord.
