Welcome to the St. John Missionary Baptist Church website. We are glad that you decided to visit our site. Our congregation is made of loving and family focused worshippers located in Bakersfield, California. Here at St. John, we serve a Winner in Christ Jesus by living the Word in our daily lives. We are equipping believers to live the Word victoriously in the world and give witness to the love and power of God.

St. John Missionary Baptist Church is an exciting, life-giving church with a heart for the Trinity. Under the leadership of Dr. Antonio M. Alfred, St. John Missionary Baptist Church is committed to sharing the hope of Jesus through Bible-centered teaching and community.

People of all ages, races, and backgrounds are welcome on Sunday mornings and throughout the week to pursue God through worship gatherings, small groups, kids and student ministries, and various outreach projects.
